Hi everybody! I created a clean and simple card for you today. But I pumped up the volume with a Nestabilities A2 Fancy Ribbon Threader die on Rustic Cream card stock. This gave my card base lots of interest, and a place to thread my bow without adding an extra layer - love that. All I had to do was stamp my tree with some Memento Olive Grove ink and add my sentiment using SU's Chocolate Chip ink. I found some little diamond dot stickers from Stampendous in my stash ~ perfect for trimming the tree. The sentiment font and the tree image are so complimentary together. Add some linen saddle stitch ribbon that picks up the flecks in the rustic cream card stock and you've got a nice traditional Christmas card.
One little reminder when die cutting with the fancy dies. Remember to use wax paper (easy release), and to place the fold of your card "up to" but "not over" the die cutting edge. Other wise you'll get two halves (she smiles). I love this piney tree, it's little hints of sliver, and it's Courier and Ives look. I hope you do too.
